head:[link] upper body:[link] PHEW *big sigh of relief* i cant believe i finally finished it! this was SO much fun to draw! seriously, and i must say that i have even more of an appreciation for memnon0288 as an artist as this wonderful creature was a real challenge to draw. i suppose it dosent help i couldn't draw horse very well to begin with...but after an hour or 2 into research on horse anatomy and bone structure, and wings i felt ready - and it paid off! (i must have rubbed the face out like 14 times before i got it right!) this is honestly one of my most enjoyed contest entries/fanarts ive done. but those feathers took ages, my faves are the ones tipped with a light blue  anyway its done in my favourite medium, watercolour (with black fineliner detailing) alsoooo the background actualy glitters but it dosent show on the scan, thats what the swirls are, metallic paintMatlal ©  Memnon0288Art © ME 02DellerJGO JOIN HIS CONTEST (theres still a little bit of time)sorry if this looks a little rushed btw, i saw the deadline and freaked a little haha! but it was a fantastic stress reliever between exams  |
