What is Art? What do you think?

Art is a release from everyday life and all your problems, a chance to let go and do what you want to do. Art is the imagination flowing from your choice of media onto a blank canvas and creating a picture which allows you to express emotion through the strokes of your equipment and tell people how you feel without even opening your mouth. It's a way in which people of all different cultures and languages can understand each other.

It is a freedom of speech and thought and therefore can never be wrong, only different because it is simply your interpritation of what you see, hear and feel. People don't even have to like it, you dont even have to like it yourself but all the same it's still art and comes in more forms than are possible to list in one lifetime.

Art is like a signature and is personal to everyone and can identify you and make you stadn out from everyone else just like our handwritting.

Art has hidden meanings that even you dont understand but people in the future could pick it to pieces and show a love for it and discuss it between each other as part of their every day life. art brings people together, and art can cause wars.

art is a talent, a career, a hobby and a lifestyle and to me it is my life, to live without art (and creating it) would be like living a life without all of my sences. to be deprived of creativity of this kind would be a death scentence. art is a passion. my passion.
